Where ever you are, there you are!

PayGo 4.0 has the ability to handle stores with multiple sites. This means that your sales, customers, purchase orders, inventory and a bunch of other information can be accessed from any of your locations. It's repliceous!

No Networking Eye-Crossers

Open this port, open that port. VPN. URL. Firewalls. Fire pits. Fire in the hole. Who needs it all! With PayGo 4.0, your stores can be talking with no change to your networking. All you need is typical broadband internet connection from your beloved Internet Service Provider. It takes about 15 minutes to get your store connected to your PayGoNode server.

The Nerd Word - How Does It Work?

At each of your stores, you have PayGo Retail Software (running on 1-10* computers) and a PayGoNode Engine installed. PayGo talks to the PayGoNode Engine and that engine talks to a PayGoNode server that is hosted at a secure and reliable location called a super server farm.

The PayGoNode Server acts as the hangout for all of your data from each of your stores. It determines what data has to go where and when. It's the tool that syncs your stores.

Every 30 minutes your sites and the PayGoNode Server talk and exchange data with each other.

The neat thing is that within 30 minutes, a sale, or new customer, or new inventory, or purchase order will show up at all of your stores.

Worry-warts relax! That data is encrypted as it's transported across the wild, unfair, unforgiving internet. Also, when the data shows up at each of your sites, you have the power to control who sees what data from what store. It's just neat.

FAQ

Question: Can I do work on my laptop from home and then come into the store and add my work to the main system?
Answer: You can, but your laptop will have to be it's own Node (or site). So you can can create purchase orders, run reports, add customers and prepare orders, but they will be added as transactions in your node site.

Question: Can I control inventory from one location?
Answer: Yes. You can setup your locations so that your users don't have access to create inventory, but they can view it and of course sell it. Basically in PayGo, there is a master inventory record and a location record. The master record holds the inventory details, the location record holds on hand and cost information for each of your locations. Essentially, you could add all of your new inventory descriptions in the Minneapolis store, and they would be replicated out to the other stores. At each store, PayGo will then create a location record that will store the quantity and cost information.

Question: Can I transfer inventory from one location to another?
Answer: Yes. There is an Inventory Transfer feature that's transferiffic. You create the transfer at your New York store and within minutes, it's a pending incoming transfer at the Miami store. The Miami store can then access the pending transfer and process it... thus completing the transfer

Question: What data is replicated?
Answer: Almost all of it. The only data in PayGo that isn't replicated is the employee data and security accounts, the workstation settings and the company settings.

Question: What if one of my stores has different tax requirements than my other store?
Answer: Not a problem. PayGo still treats each of your PayGo's as its own store and thusly, the settings you define for your store do not replicate out to the other stores.

Question: Can I have a customer who purchased a product from my Denver store return it to my Minneapolis store?
Answer: Yes. The invoice in the Denver store will be replicated out to the other stores, so you can go through the Return process as you would for any sale. Of course, it takes about 30 minutes for the information to replicate*, so if they had a super future-tainted transporter, the return wouldn't work.
